Necessity is the mother of all invention, and\u00a0<\/span>our current environment<\/span>\u00a0has introduced more challenges into our\u00a0<\/span>personal and professional lives\u00a0<\/span>than anyone could\u00a0<\/span>have predicted<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Be it as a planner, partner, or provider in the live events industry, how do we continue to provide value to our customers in a time when we cannot meet face to face? For PSAV, we\u2019ve rallied together through\u00a0<\/span>tremendous cross-functional collaboration, commitment and leadership,<\/span>\u00a0finding\u00a0<\/span>creative ways\u00a0<\/span>to<\/span>\u00a0adapt\u00a0<\/span>and engage in this very fluid environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Professional\u00a0<\/span><\/b>EDge<\/span><\/b>: Industry Education<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span>\u00a0desire to remain connected has never been stronge<\/span>r, and despite stay-at-home orders, <\/span>we\u00a0<\/span>knew we could<\/span>\u00a0share\u00a0<\/span>thought leadership\u00a0<\/span>content that would provide a lasting benefit to our communit<\/span>y<\/span>\u00a0by pivoting to virtual.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, our team is<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>excited to introduce Professional\u00a0<\/span>EDge<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 our\u00a0<\/span>permanent platform for industry education<\/span>!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>We\u00a0<\/span>kicked it off<\/span>\u00a0with<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Global Virtual Events Day<\/span><\/a>\u00a0on April 2,\u00a0<\/span>where we<\/span>\u00a0welcomed\u00a0<\/span>more than\u00a0<\/span>13,000<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>unique visitors<\/span>\u00a0from 5<\/span>7\u00a0<\/span>countries<\/span>. Our family of companies brought a team of\u00a0<\/span>digital experts to\u00a0<\/span>share<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>real-life applications and solutions<\/span>\u00a0to help professionals plan, produce, and promote virtual events from start to finish.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On April 7, we\u00a0<\/span>continued our interactive sessions with the <\/span>launch<\/span>\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0an\u00a0<\/span>eight<\/span>-week series<\/span><\/a>\u00a0of webinars\u00a0<\/span>running<\/span>\u00a0through the end of May<\/span>. F<\/span>eaturing\u00a0<\/span>great content from industry experts<\/span>, a<\/span>ll of these sessions are approved by the\u00a0<\/span>Events Industry Council<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>for attendees to earn continuing\u00a0<\/span>education hours<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Launching Professional\u00a0<\/span>EDge<\/span> has been a bright spot for us. <\/span>It\u2019s a platform we always wanted to create but found difficult to prioritize amidst normal business levels. The sense of accomplishment that comes from finding new ways to evolve and elevate is a benefit we can all derive from great teamwork and creativity<\/span>\u00a0in our current environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chime Live Virtual Events Platform<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a poll we recently conducted, more than one-third of meeting planners\u00a0<\/span>responded<\/span>\u00a0that the most daunting aspect of hosting a virtual event was audience engagement<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>With this in mind, we\u2019re excited<\/span>\u00a0to\u00a0<\/span>introduce<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Chime Live<\/span><\/a>, a new platform we\u2019re using to host Professional\u00a0<\/span>EDge<\/span>. It also provides users an <\/span>engaging forum that lives on after the event<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>We want to<\/span>\u00a0learn what matters most to you, s<\/span>o we can continue to\u00a0<\/span>develop<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>fresh\u00a0<\/span>content<\/span>\u00a0that<\/span>\u00a0resonates\u00a0<\/span>and brings even more value to Professional\u00a0<\/span>EDge<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By leveraging technology<\/span>, we have th<\/span>e\u00a0<\/span>opportunity to remain connected u<\/span>nlike any generation before us\u00a0<\/span>that has gone through dark times. The internet\u00a0<\/span>may be our conduit, but our connections are no less<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>genuine or valuable.
